At the time of causing infection, HIV virus starts multiplying inside the cells of the body. This newly formed virus is then released from the cells and gets spread all over the body. While doing so, they infect the other cells of the body as well and like this, infection gets spread to the new and uninfected cells of the body. The most important thing that the virus need is DNA for carrying out its function. Now this HIV virus also requires DNA and enzyme reverse transcriptase help in this.
